Recruitment still lists THE NEXT EXAM DATE IS SATURDAY, AUGUST 1, 2026. Prior TML 84571167 still reprints that test at the Duncanville Recreation Center, 201 James Collins Blvd., doors open 7:00 AM and close 8:00 AM, posted 30+ days ago. $75,387 is the Recruitment no-experience cell; $73,910 is fire pay. Those are not the same cell. Instagram still reprints $73,910 as fire pay, not Duncanville PD.

The Duncanville PD department listing printed no officer dollar this retrieval. The Duncanville Fire Department listing still carries 52 sworn / 2 stations. A fire pay table still carries $73,910 certified start / $95,972 sixth-year from Fire Department Recruitment. Those fire figures are not Duncanville PD pay.

Duncanville Fire Department hires on a separate schedule. Duncanville ISD Police is a different agency. City Marshal is Municipal Court, not this door. This page covers Duncanville PD.

The license is TCOLE's. The job is Duncanville PD's. Those are two gates. The Texas sequence is in How to Become a Police Officer in Texas. The license rules are in TCOLE peace officer license requirements.

Department listing: Duncanville Police Department. Pay comparison: Texas police salary by department. That salary page still keeps N=12. The live apply door

Apply from Recruitment. Retrieval is 2026-08-22. That page still names SATURDAY, AUGUST 1, 2026 as the next exam date. All paperwork must be completed through Guardian Alliance before the test. Applicants are disqualified if they did not complete their Personal History Questionnaire and certify it online. Hiring Procedures: Civil Service exam scheduled on an as-needed basis. TML required the online application before the August 1 test date. The August 1 sitting is past. That date is not an open posting. Do not treat August 1, 2026 as an open sworn-officer door.

The City ESS board at selfservice.duncanville.com redirected to an Upgrade.aspx cookie page this retrieval. governmentjobs.com/careers/duncanvilletx returned 302 to the GovernmentJobs homepage. There is no live NEOGOV officer exam card.

Whether the August 1, 2026 sitting still feeds a standing list is unpublished. Next exam TBD.

See What to expect at a Texas police academy.
