NAEMT member scholarships for EMT, paramedic, and advanced EMS education, plus the NAEMT Foundation awards for people entering the field.
About This Resource
The National Association of EMTs publishes two official scholarship tracks on one page. NAEMT member scholarships are for active members and include awards for first responders becoming EMT-Basic, EMTs becoming paramedics, and paramedics continuing EMS education. The old /initiatives/ems-scholarships path is a 404. Use the current NAEMT scholarships page, not a third-party aggregator.
How to Use This Resource
Open naemt.org/resources/scholarships. If you already hold NAEMT membership, apply for the member scholarships through the member portal in the current window. If you are not yet a member and you are entering EMR or EMT school, use the NAEMT Foundation section on that same page. Dates change by cycle. For Texas agency-funded seats, also check the TWC Emergency Medical Response Service Staffing Program, which pays providers rather than individual walk-in applicants.
