About the Department

The Frisco Fire Department serves one of the fastest-growing cities in the nation with 252 career firefighters and 12 volunteers operating from 9 fire stations. FFD responded to 19,522 calls in 2022 and over 175,000 calls over the last 15 years. The department achieved ISO Class 1 in 2000 (top 0.4% nationally) and CFAI accreditation in 2018, making it one of only 116 of 27,000+ fire departments in the U.S. with both distinctions. FFD operates 8 engine/quint companies, 3 truck companies, 1 heavy rescue, 1 HazMat/EOC, and 7 ambulances on 24-hour rotating shifts.

Promotional & Incentive Pay

FF/Paramedic: $23.86-$28.19/hr (higher than FF/EMT)
